Sunday, February 3rd means one thing for most sports fans: Super Bowl. But, for iOS users everywhere who enjoy living life outside of Apple’s “walled garden” it’s the day we’re finally going to see an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.x. The jailbreak tool, named Evasi0n, is compatible with iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S and 5, iPad 2,3 and 4 as well as 4th and 5th generation iPod touch. It’s probably the most wide-ranging product list for any jailbreak tool in history and it’s still on course for a release tomorrow (Sunday 3rd Feb).
If you head on over to Evasi0n.com now you’ll catch a progress report which states that the tool is finally in private beta testing. Or, 80% done! It’s being tested on Mac, Windows and Linux, and once bugs are ironed out and sorted, the public will finally get its hands on the latest tool, released by the Evad3rs team. Personally, I can’t wait. I’ve been dying to try out Auxo and InstaSnap ever since I saw them.
