I’m sure you have heard about the passcode bug flying around the internet today. Well, many have been pondering when Apple will possibly fix the issue, and it has finally reached out in a comment on the matter, saying the following to confirm that a fix is indeed on the way:

Apple takes user security very seriously. We are aware of this issue, and will deliver a fix in a future software update

This is good, as many were worried about the security risks this bug presents. If I had to guess, based on Apple’s decision to release iOS 6.1.1 for the iPhone 4S, we will see this update coming in iOS 6.1.2 to keep all the devices on the same track. Don’t be surprised if a fix is out within the next week.
