App Watch: Wunderlist 2 released, Bump gets Mac friendly update and The Drowning controls shown off

A new FPS (first person shooter) from Scattered Entertainment, dubbed “The Drowning,” got a sneak peak today in a video released via YouTube. It showed off what look to be some really thought out controls, something that we haven’t seen on an FPS for iOS yet. Instead of using the whole “joystick” approach to the game, you can play the entire game using only two fingers, on one hand. That’s right, two fingers, on one hand. It looks great, and I can’t wait to try it out. For more information on “The Drowning”, you can check out the video above and go to

Bump also got an update that lets users get a little friendly with their computers. Now you can send files to and from your computer using the service. Any file 20MB and lower. It supported this feature previously but was limited to only pictures, now it supports a wider range of file types. Also, before this update it was only phone-to-computer. Now, with the new update, file exchanges can happen computer-to-phone. While seemingly simple, this feature is actually a great addition to the sharing service. You can get Bump for iOS free here: App Store.

Wunderlist, the free cross-platform to-do application has received a major overhaul for version 2 that was just released. Now, for the iOS version, it is a single binary that will work with both iPhone and iPad. Also, it finally got the Retina treatment for iPads, making it look nice and crisp on that 9.7 inch display. The application also got support for Reminders, Recurring Tasks, Subtasks and Notes. More features are said to becoming very soon. You can get this for free as well in the App Store here: Wunderlist.

Do you use any of these apps? Looking forward to The Drowning? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
