Rolling Stone magazine finds its way to Newsstand

Any Rolling Stone readers out there? If so, you can now enjoy the magazine from the comfort (and convenience) of your iPad. That’s right, the magazine who’s founder, Jann Wenner, said that all the other magazines were “premature” in making their way to the iPad, is now available on none other than the iPad. The digital version of this well renowned magazine comes complete with iTunes links, which link the reader directly to the content from featured artists. The pricing is as follows, from the App Store:

• Buy a single issue of Rolling Stone for $4.99.
• 1 Month subscription for $1.99, plus first month free, automatically renewed until cancelled.
• 1 year subscription for $19.99, plus first month free, automatically renewed until cancelled.

Other publications from the same company, Wenner Media, have also been released, including the Rolling Stone’s Beatles guide, and Us Weekly. Unfortunately, if you are already subscribed to the print version, that does not include a subscription to the digital version. You will have to either pay both, or cancel the print to only opt for the digital (or, you know, just keep the paper and not worry about the digital). Completely up to you, but at least now you have the option. If you are interested in downloading the app, check out the source link below.

What do you think? Are you excited to see this on iPad? Are you going to subscribe? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
