QuantumSphere Announces Beastly Mobile Charger, Offering 55,000 MAh Of Power

QuantumSphere is currently looking for funding on Kickstarter for an awesome new portable charging solution. Called the MetAir Solace, the beastly charger aims to be the daddy of the field, offering up a colossal 55,000 mAh of power.

If you’re not knowledgeable on battery capacity, alow me to add some perspective, your iPhone 5 has a pretty good battery (mine’s good for around 8-10 hour’s use between charging), and the size of that is only 1440 mAh. That means that QuantumSphere’s power brick contains the battery power of around 38 iPhone 5s.

With that kind of storage, it’s no surprise that the MetAir Solace is being dubbed ‘the world’s most powerful portable device charger’.

The device is intended to act as an emergency hub, featuring three USB ports to charge any of your devices, LED lights, and an emergency radio, good for calling for help when you inevitably end up on a desert island with nothing but your trusty charger and iPhone, right?
