BlackBerry has just announced its latest and long awaited attempt at cracking the all-touch smartphone market. The company formerly known as RIM is undoubtedly the king of physical keyboards, but having had a disastrous time with the STORM series, it’s fair to say that previous touch screen phones have hardly been drool worthy.
So, how will it compare to the iPhone 5? Here’s a spec sheet to peruse while you weigh up whether or not you’re going to switch out your iOS powered smartphone in favor of the BBerry Z10.
There are clear advantages to both. The iPhone is smaller, lighter and has a bigger array of networks available to it. The BlackBerry is larger, more powerful, has a big screen and expandable storage. Early reviews are in of the Z10, and although it is seemingly a good phone, general feelings are mixed. The Verge’s review points out the disappointing battery performance, as well as the current lack of good apps in the app store. While those with a taste for BlackBerry will undoubtedly see this as the best BlackBerry ever, in the same way us Apple appreciators feel the iPhone 5 is the best iPhone yet.
What do you think? Is it a tempting proposition? Or will you stick with your tried and trusted iOS?
