Analysts are predicting the sales numbers for Apple’s December quarter, and if they’re right, Apple had a big sales quarter.
According to Forbes, analysts have Apple selling anywhere from 43 million to 63 million. While that is a large range, the average estimate is about 52.3 million iPhones being sold in just one quarter. If these estimates prove to be correct, Apple’s iPhone sales would have increased by 15 million iPhones when compared to the same quarter from the previous year.
There are many factors that may have contributed to the rise in sales of iPhones including the more international launch of the iPhone 5, as well as the quarter being one week longer than in 2011.
What do you guys think? Did you contribute to Apple’s sales numbers by purchasing an iPhone recently? Let us know in the comments!
