‘A Bite Out of Apple’ infographic details Cupertino’s spending, income and iPad/iPhone costs

I love a good infographic, especially when it contains information I wasn’t aware of. ‘A Bite Out of Apple’ details our favorite fruit company’s spending habits. From iPhone manufacturing cost and profit margin to the annual marketing budget and how much it spends on lobbying. Originally posted over at Master Business Administration, it’s a very detailed and easy to digest roundup of Cupertino’s financials.

Points I found particularly interesting:

  • Cisco, Intel, IBM, Microsoft and Google all outspend Apple on Research and Development.
  • Year over year Apple’s data center budget has increased 94% on 2011
  • Since the iPhone launched, Apple has spent $647 million on advertising it

There’s a lot more, check it out below.
