There’s been a lot of talk about the current CEO, Tim Cook, over the past week. This is thanks mostly to his NBC Rock interview on Thursday night where he spoke on Apple’s future, past and present. It was a very open and honest interview by Cook, admitting clearly that his company had “screwed up” with Maps, but that there was a bright future to look forward to.
While many dedicated Jobs loyalists will always be skeptical that the company can exist without its late co-founder, I disagree. Executively, the Apple is in better shape than it’s ever been, especially with Jony Ive in his new role and the abrasive Skeuomorph that is Scott Forstall being pushed out.
With so much attention being placed on Cook this week, I thought it’d be interesting to find out your thoughts on his successes so far as CEO, and ask, during his time in charge (since Aug 2011) which of Apple’s portable products has been most impressive to you? Either because of its performance or level of build quality or innovation. Or, whatever factors you think makes a product the best it can be. I’ve restricted it to iOS devices and iPods only (since we’re an iOS blog).
So, which of Apple’s iDevices since summer 2011 have impressed you?
