TIME Magazine, as it does every year around this time, has released a list of the possible recipients. Among this list is the CEO of our favorite fruit company, Tim Cook. In his first full year as CEO, Cook presided over the launch of multiple products, including a two new iPads, the iPad mini, two new iPhones, a set of Retina equipped MacBook Pros, and the release of OS X Mountain Lion. Not a bad start for someone who has to replace Steve Jobs. The company is also, and has remained, the most valuable company in the world. Apple breaks its own sales records over and over again, and continues to see rising profit. Tim Cook has proven, at least to some, that he has what it takes to keep Apple thriving.
What do you think? Should he be person of the year? Who would you nominate? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
