New app uses vibrations to take hands free 360 degree video

Take a minute to watch that video above, if you haven’t already. Did you watch it? Isn’t that neat? This new app released just before Christmas, named Cycloramic, takes a 360 degree video by vibrating your iPhone on a flat surface, causing it to turn in a circle. This requires no fancy equipment, just your phone, a flat surface, and the app. Costing only $0.99, it’s worth a try. It doesn’t work with cases or stands, and according to the support, the iPhone 4S will only turn slowly on perfectly level glass, as this is mostly designed for the iPhone 5. Head on down to the source link below if you are interested in trying this app out.

What do you think? Are you going to give this a try? Like the idea of it? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.

The V2.0 of this new iPhone app is now up and running with a new photo mode, so you can now take panoramic photos in addition to videos with the same incredible 360-degree spin!

Interesting. Could find a novel use for it a time or two, I suppose.

@albireo 신기하네요 그런데 일반 진동으로는 확인해봤는데 한방향으로 돌지 않네요.진동 패턴을 잘 만들어낸 듯 합니다.
