You may or may not have noticed that of iOS 6 quietly removed one of the iPhone’s most generous features – app gifting – from the App Store. Personally, I was unaware of this fact, but that doesn’t mean I’m not glad that it’s returned. Seemingly just in time for the holiday season, Apple has re-released this feature, and it’s now incredibly simple to purchase an App Store app for another user on your iOS device.
All you’ve gotta do is hit the action button at the bottom of the screen when you’ve found an app you wish to send, and click the “Gift” button. You’ll even be able to specify the exact date an application is delivered, so you can make sure that newest version of Angry Birds gets placed under the virtual tree just in time for Christmas!
