Dropbox 2.0 for iOS released: features new UI and great photos gallery

Dropbox announced today via its blog that the app for iOS has been updated, and is available on the App Store now. Version 2.0′s most noticeable improvement is the new photo viewer. Pictured above you can now see your images in full screen.

“Also, when you select a photo, you’ll be able to view it in full-screen glory with nary a button in sight. This means you can get maximum real estate when you’re flipping through puppy photos, or those pics of your bare feet. And to make things even better, our new speedy scroller will help you navigate all the way back to time immemorial (or your earliest photos) in seconds. Even if you have “Billions and Billions” of them.”

Uploading files has become much simpler too. You simply access the folder you want your file to go to and hit the “+” icon. Sadly, there’s still no option to share folders from within the app. But, it’s still an improvement. Version 2.0 is available for free now. App Store link.
