According to a new report out of DigiTimes, sources on the supply chain state that Apple is expected to ship over 12 million of its new iPad mini. This estimate, supposedly, beats out Apple’s own estimate of 10 million. That estimate was later dropped to a mere 6-8 million in light of the struggling supply. According to the sources, supply problems have been fixed, and demand for the new device is higher than expected. Shipments have reportedly already surpassed 8 million since its release.
