If you’ve been using iTunes then you probably are aware of the constant delays with the upcoming version, iTunes 11. It was supposed to come to consumers in October, but was delayed to due technical issues and Apple wanting it to be perfect. After a month and a half of delays, it would appear that the updated iOS media player is finally on its way.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is expected to debut iTunes 11 today, November 29 after having put the release on hold due to kinks that need to be worked out. Jessica Lessin of the Wall Street Journal said the following about Eddy Cue’s role in iTunes 11 and its launch,
“Mr. Cue faces a test of how well Apple can keep up in online services with the launch of a new desktop version of iTunes, which is expected as soon as Thursday.”
Personally, I’m excited for this update and am glad it’s finally(hopefully) coming to consumers. I love iTunes and always welcome any updates and improvements that will make my iOS using experience better. I hope this rumor pans out.
