Taiwanese carriers expect iPhone 5 to arrive on December 14

While the iPhone 5 has been available in many countries, such as the USA and UK, for two months now, it is yet to be released in China, and Apple hasn’t given any insight as to when residents can expect the device. Fortunately, it looks like Apple’s most successful handset will be available from December 14 in China.

This news comes as major carriers in Taiwan announced that they expect the device to land on this date, saying that it is “very likely” that the iPhone 5 will arrive in China on December 14.

China Telecom has begun pre-ordering Apple’s smartphone, which has sparked the wannabe detectives of the internet to deem the device as ‘around the corner’.
