It’s fair to say that Apple and Samsung’s series of lawsuits is probably never going to end. The likelihood of the two companies kissing and making up was severely snuffed during this week when Samsung announced it had no intention to reach a settlement (unlike HTC, who clearly wanted to get on with making devices).
Cupertino and the Korean giant have an ongoing court case in California and – just today – the judge has allowed each company to add a few more devices to the suit. The iPhone 5 is on the list (as Sammy said it would be) and Apple has added the Galaxy SIII, Galaxy Note 10.1 and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (on the Galaxy Nexus). That’s not the end of it though. The judge also indicated that – if it wanted to – Samsung could include the latest versions of Apple’s popular tablet: the iPad and iPad mini.
