Eddy Cue, SVP of Internet Software and Services at Apple, joins Ferrari Board of Directors

The executives over at Apple seem to be staying busy. Soon after the announcement that Scott Forstall will no longer be a part of Apple, it was also discovered that Eddy Cue will be taking over some aspects of iOS, including Maps and Siri. Well, after owning a Ferrari for 5 years, he has just joined the Board of Directors at Ferrari. Chairman of Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo, said this:

His huge experience in the dynamic, innovative world of the Internet will be of great assistance to us.

Cue said that he is “pleased and proud to become a member of the board.” He went on to say that he is “awed” by the world-class design that Ferrari does, and that he is proud to have owned one the last 5 years. This will be interesting to see if much comes of this, I guess we will have to just wait and see.

What do you think? Wondering if Apple and Ferrari will share any design aspects? Think this was just a business move? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
