Apple’s ‘spaceship’ campus 2 project details posted on Cupertino city website

Cupertino’s city website has just posted Apple’s detailed plans for the new ‘spaceship’ campus that it has been working on.

Reportedly, Apple’s new campus project has been delayed, with David Brandt (Cupertino city manager) saying that “the project is running a bit slowly,” and that it could “conceivably break ground in 2013”. Current estimates have the construction scheduled for completion in June of 2013, but it seems highly unlikely that the project will finish by then, even if it starts January 1st, 2013.

Aarti Shrivastava, Cupertino’s Director of Community Development, said on Tuesday that the plans would be posted after Thanksgiving so that the site could prepare for the server load of voracious Apple fans and journalists downloading the plans. It appears, however, that they were more prepared than they thought, and the plans were posted today.

What do you guys think of Apple’s ‘spaceship’ campus? All I can think is “I want to go to there”.

Check out the full plans below, and let us know what you think in the comments!
