According to Chinese website M.I.C. Gadget, Apple could be opening a third store in Beijing as early as October 2o. The site posted a bunch of images of the construction site, and from the pictures it’s clear that this is going to be an incredibly impressive retail space.
The store is located on a corner of the iconic Wangfujing Street, fewer than a mile away from Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. What’s more, it seems as though the ground floor of the place will feature an enormous, curved-glass facade and there are even rumors that the retail experience will extend up a whopping four floors! There’s also a very large monitor on the building, but it looks to be separate from the Apple store, displaying ads for other stores in the Wangfujing area.
Apple doesn’t cut corners on anything, so this retail location is bound to be pretty darn cool. If you’re ever in the Beijing area, this is definitely a must-see.
