UK Carriers announce iPhone 5 pricing – full breakdown

Today, all the major UK networks opened their online stores for pre-order business, each announcing their own price plans. So, instead of you having to shop around and find the best deal for you, I’ve compiled them all in to one article right here. There’s nothing worse than flipping between all the different sites. So, I’m hopeful that this proves to benefit you.

In terms of value for money, it’s hard to look past Three who offer the 32GB iPhone 5 on £34 and £36 monthly plans for an upfront fee of just £89. The same monthly price point on the other carriers will cost you around £200 for the same phone. Obviously, it comes down to coverage. Thankfully, I live in an area where each network offers relatively good reception. Check them out below, and let me know who you went with in the comments below.

O2

Vodafone

Orange

T-mobile

Three

If you’re not sure which carrier offers you the best reception for 2G/3G, I have links to all the networks’ coverage checkers below:

You wouldn't happen to have news from Romania? :)

RaduTanasescu Hehehe. Sadly not. I don't know anything about Romanian carriers, so it'd be foolish of me to try.

is vodafone only one offering 12 month contract,  what about the 18 months

The site only offers 24 months and 12 months for the iPhone.

@killianbell Took a little time, but worth it. I hate having to look through each site to find each deal.

@TiP_Cam Nice one! So will you have to wait two weeks, or did you get your order in on time?

@killianbell I tried at 8:04, no joy. So, I put my phone down and waited. Wasn't going to stress out like last year. lol

@TiP_Cam Haha. I was really lucky I think. I just opened up the Apple Store app at 8 and my order went straight through — it was simple.

@killianbell Yeah. I used the app too. Learned that from last time out. Sailed through at 9.
