It may not be the most convenient thing in the world, but with a quick trip to Hong Kong you can get your very own iPhone 5 for the low low price of 1,100 dollars! Wow!  Well this isn’t exactly a discount considering that the iPhone 5 will be on retail this Friday for 720 dollars, but at least you can say that you got a new iPhone from a grey market dealer that goes by the name Mr. Lo.

When Lo was asked about the sales of the iPhone 5, whether there would be a demand for it, he said the stock for the iPhone 5 is quite tight, so he thinks it will be alright to re-sell the phone for a hefty markup, at least for the first two weeks. What’s more, he has prepared “secret” couriers in U.S. and Europe to hop on planes to Hong Kong after securing about hundreds of iPhone 5s. Right now Lo has already received 100-200 orders from mainland China customers before the iPhone 5 goes on sale in Hong Kong’s Apple retail store.

Our friend Mr. Lo will also be purchasing people’s iPhones, as he is said to have a standing offer of roughly 200 more dollars than you bought it for. Don’t feel bad for him as he will be selling the iPhone for even more as they are suppose to be in “tight supplies” initially.
