How To: Set Multiple Email Signatures On Your IPhone Or IPad In IOS 6

A common frustration on former iOS 6 iterations was the lack of multiple email signatures for those of us who manage more than one email account on our iDevice. Before iOS 6, iOS device owners would use one generic signature and have to add any additional information to their signature inside each email that was sent. To call it a pain would be too nice.

Well, iOS 6 changes all of that and this is one change we welcome with open arms, not to mention it’s a breeze to set up.

  1. To set up email signatures, launch your Settings app and select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  2. Scroll until you the Signature option and select it.
  3. You’ll be presented with the screen below that shows two options, All Accounts or Per Account with All Accounts already selected. Tap Per Account to bring up all your email accounts and their current signatures.
  4. Customize!

From now on, when sending an email, iOS will automatically apply the proper signature based on the email account you’ve selected to send the email.
