Google veteran Sally Cole joins Apple as Communications Director

It always warms my heart when someone leaves the dark side and joins the good. In this case Sally Cole, six-year veteran of Google, has joined Apple as a Communications Director. Same job as she had in Google, but now she is working for the fruit company down the street. With a B.A. in history from Yale and a a J.D./M.B.A. from Stanford, Sally is packing some pretty impressive credentials coming into Apple this week.

This newest addition could be part of Apple’s apparent scheme to hire people from Google with Google Maps experience in an attempt to enhance its own new maps service, a move that breaks the “no-poach” agreement instituted by late Apple CEO Steve Jobs. I wonder what Jobs would say about Cole’s position at Apple. What do you think? Leave a comment down below!

Leave the dark side for the good? Are you serious? Well this is an Apple fan Site but honestly? I think you have it all wrong. Apple IS the dark side. They are the ones suing everyone, breaking contracts early to focus on their own crap, and charging an arm, leg, and the carrier's CEO'S first born in order to carry and sell their iphone. Their investors are evil and greedy too. Heck 5 million sales and they aren't satisfied with the outcome so far. I think someone needs to open their eyes and realize that they are supporting Satan's army of the business world. Heck even the price of Apples first computer was $666. Don't believe me? Look it up.

One less person holding Google back from truly having a dedicated team to support them 100%. I take her quitting her job as a good sign. Negative influence can't live in a place with positive energy :)
