Best Buy gearing up for iPhone 5 release

AppAdvice reports that Best Buy is currently working on stocking shelves full of accessories for Apple’s latest device, the iPhone 5. These accessories include plenty of new gear for your iPhone 5, from cases and cables to EarPods, Best Buy is getting ready for anything you need for this Friday’s launch.

Employees are apparently preparing tonight, possibly at this very moment, so that when you get your iPhone 5 you can immediately get anything you need for it at as soon as possible.

Just as a reminder the iPhone 5 will be available for purchase from Apple retail stores along with many wireless carriers tomorrow at 8 A.M. EST. You are truly brave if you have or are currently waiting in line for the new iPhone, as I’m far to lazy and pre-ordered instead.

I got the same email such b.s. I was number 4 in line and the guy was sure I would be gettin one.. This is why best buy is falling apart poor customer service and a poorly written email by the Vice President of best buy about not being able to get your phone as soon as you'd like F U

I was number 5 for the pre-order at Best buy, and I received the same email. I believe they are using pre-orders for new lines only. I went through this once before I thought it might have been a fluke. Ever notice how they ask is this for an upgrade or new line of service? They(Best Buy) receive more commission for new lines activated than they do foe upgrades. I believe that if there is no class action brought against Best Buy, that they will continue this trend. I asked if I would get a phone call when I pre ordered and the response I received was that it's first come first serve. So what is he point of Pre Ordering? Not to mention Pre Ordering is so that you receive your product on the day of launch. Best Buy is failing to meet consumers demands and they will shut down sooner than later if they don't take care of the loyal customers they still have. If I don't receive mine today, I want my money back from best buy. I don't want their gift card. I'd rather take that money and use it on getting my iphone 5 elsewhere.

My wife and I preordered at Best Buy. We got an e-mail tonight saying the phone may not come for 28 days! Pretty frustrating.

I was literally second for a black 16gb in the preorder line at best buy and got an email saying they won't have my iPhone tomorrow. How the f did they manage that... So sad.

@Thelilsky same here! I was 2nd to preorder at my store and they say they didn't get a single 16gb iPhone in! So stupid. I would rather have waited in line if I knew they would blow it so hard! Or preordered at my RadioShack since I called and only a handful of people did there!

I was the 4th person in line at my best buy... they supposedly got 16 in first thing today and somehow I got passed up... they said my black 32gb was supposedly in a shipment tonight and they would call me around 8 or 9 whether they get it or not... obviously I received no phone call.

i just got a call from my local best buy store here in chicago its 645 central time 

to come in tomorrow and pick up my new iphone 5!! i was the 10th person in line last week on friday to pre order it 

about 15 total in line before the store open in the morning
