Apple announces new iPods, nano and touch
Alongside the iPhone 5, Apple has done some considerable innovating in its iPod department, with new nano and touch models.
The nano
The nano has slimmed down considerably, sporting a tiny 5.4mm form factor, 38% thinner than its predecessor. IT now was a 2.5-inch display capable of widescreen video. It has a home button, like the iPhone, and I must say, it’s mighty fine to look at.
Like all nanos, it comes in a range of funky colors; aluminum, black, purple, green, blue, yellow and red. It has an FM tuner with DVR capability, and fitness pedometer built in, it also has bluetooth, and features the new Lightning connector!
The touch
The iPod touch now sports much the same form-factor as the iPhone 5, featuring a 4-inch Retina display, exactly the same as the iPhone! It rocks the new A5 processor, offering 7x faster graphics than the previous iPod. It also features a 5-megapixel iSight camera, and the same sapphire crystal lens cover of the iPhone 5, along with the panorama feature, it also has image stabalization and iMovie.
The iPod touch now comes with Siri! We’ve been given a brief demonstration of iOS 6, complete with Siri! The iPod touch now comes in aluminum, black, blue, yellow and red! Will you be grabbing one of these? Let us know below!
