Since the iPad mini was first suggested, we’ve seen rumors, schematics and, most recently, mock-ups of the speculated device. But today, MacRumors posted a 3D rendering of Apple’s supposed next addition to the iPad family on YouTube. The design of the device in the video is very reminiscent of the most recent mock-ups we’ve seen, featuring iPod touch-esque side bezels.

With Apple’s media event being just a week away, speculation will likely continue regarding the smaller iPad until it’s announced (or not) at the keynote speech on September 12th. And even if it is launched, it won’t be the last we’ll hear of it.
