Tired of your ‘old’ iPhone 4S? Sell it to Apple for up to $345

If you’re weeping at your insufficient funds for the next iPhone, then don’t despair, because as part of their Reuse and Recycle program, Apple is offering up to $345 for your iPhone 4S, depending on condition and capacity.

If you want a quote for your iPhone, head over to Apple’s website and fill out a form. You can expect the highest payout of  $345 from Apple if you have a 64GB iPhone 4S in mint condition, with less money being handed out for the lower end models. By now you may be skeptical of whether this is the best way to get money for your ‘old’ device, so to prove that it is, Gazelle is currently offering $314 for the 64GB model.

Should you decide to hand your phone over to Apple, they will send you a bag to put your iPhone in, to be sent to Apple’s partner PowerON. Providing your phone matches your description of it in the form you filled out, you’ll receive an Apple gift card to the value of whatever your device was worth.

However, there is one thing to bear in mind about this program, and that is the lack of a price-lock  guarantee. This means the price you’re quoted isn’t necessarily the same as what you’ll receive. So, to ensure you’ll get the maximum price for your iPhone, sell it as soon as possible, and you’ll avoid disappointment.

I have a offer from Gazelle for $300 for my 4S 32gb AT&T iPhone. I just have to get it to them by October 1st.

What if I have unlocked iPhone, will it cost more? It would be logical since I bought it for much more.
