Alleged photos of iPad mini screen surface
I know this product is not confirmed yet, but judging by today’s outpouring of leaked information, it will be soon. The latest bit of news is a photo sent by a tipster to Gizmodo of what is claimed to be the iPad mini’s screen.
The display measures in at what is assumed to be the correct size, 7.85 inches, which lines up with previous rumors. The other notable feature of this screen is that it isn’t built with the iPad’s typical 4:3 aspect ratio. Could this be an indicator that Apple is planning to embrace a new aspect ratio across its entire line of products? Personally, I think a move like that could only help the Cupertino-based company in terms of making apps compatible with all new products.
In addition, the source swears by the reputation of the supply chain he received the part from. That being said, this “leak” is far from official, so be weary.
What do you all think? Are we actually seeing components from Apple’s next major product, the iPad mini? If so, would such a gadget sway you from the temptations of the Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire? Sound off in the comments section below!

Be weary eh? I'd rather not feel tired. Though I will be wary.
