Tiny Wings is a simple and incredibly addictive iPhone game. You help a bird with tiny wings zoom down hills in order to gain enough speed to fly up into the clouds. There’s a bunch of different achievements to strive for, but it’s the kind of casual game that you can pick up in between class, put it away for hours, and start up again without missing a beat. Oh yeah, and it’s been my main source of iOS-related distractions since it came out last September.
I recently beat the last goal, but I still find myself clicking on the game and playing around, wishing there were still achievements to unlock. You can imagine my excitement, then, when the developer of Tiny Wings finally let slip some information about the sequel, Tiny Wings 2.
Finally it’s coming: Tiny Wings 2! And now it’s teaser time: youtu.be/AXUiyK1olZ8

Andraes Illiger tweeted the link to the teaser video for Tiny Wings 2, and while not much is revealed about the game, the unmistakable gameplay and style is certainly present as is the release date, July 12. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on how the game is, but if it’s anything like the first Tiny Wings, which currently boasts an average App Store rating of 4.5 stars with 186,130 reviews, it’ll be good.
If you want to catch up before the sequel is released, you can pick up the original Tiny Wings in the App Store now for just $0.99. There’s no iPad version, but hopefully that’ll be addressed on the 12th!
