Rumor: iPhone 5, iPad Mini and Apple TV all launching at September event?

Were you disappointed with WWDC? If not, some were. But don’t worry, reports are coming out that are telling us to just wait for the expected September event. The reports calling it a “crowded event” are noting that aside from a sixth-generation iPhone, we could see them unveil the long rumored iPad “mini,” and more; possibly including a new Apple TV. These reports are coming from Gene Munster and Piper Jaffray, first reported on AppleInsider. They are saying that Apple is likely to be introducing a 16GB iPad “mini” that could be launching for $299, just in time for the holiday season, where they expect Apple to sell 6 million of the devices.

With a smaller iPad, Apple would be able to put a huge dent in the smaller/cheaper tablet market that Android devices currently reside in. They don’t expect that this would hurt Apple’s sale of current iPads, because the people that are looking for this type of device have simply not bought one yet, or gone Android. This would help Apple maintain their tablet marketplace dominance. Lastly, it was reported that a 4th-gen Apple TV may be released, but few details were said about that.

What do you think? Getting excited for the next Apple event, whenever it may be? Do you think this is just hype? Let us know in the comments.
