The number to the right of the word represents how many apps use the word in their title. As you can see, there are a few interesting things to take note of here. The word “Free” is 3rd, even though the app is free, so it doesn’t really need to be said. “iPad” and “iPhone” are used quite often, letting the developers make the user a feeling that the app was made for “their” device.

With “Lite” and “Free” both being in the top 5 alongside “Pro,” it shows developers are still favoring the 2 app model: one free/lite and one premium/paid version, instead of using in-app purchases to update the app. Something that helps that stat is only 5% of iOS apps are in-app purchase enabled. HD is used for a few purposes, either it is for the Retina display or it is for iPad. Now it is somewhat confusing, because the iPad also has a Retina display.
