Apple fixes App Store bug

Yesterday news broke of people having a ton of problems with certain apps out of the App Store. After developers let Apple know about the issue, the tech company responded with the following statement:

“We had a temporary issue that began yesterday with a server that generated DRM code for some apps being downloaded, it affected a small number of users. The issue has been rectified and we don’t expect it to occur again. Users who experienced an issue launching an app caused by this server bug can delete the affected app and re-download it.”

The fix that seems to be working best is by simply deleting the apps and re-downloading them. Yet, Apple has gone a step further in addressing the issue by re-delivering uncorrupt versions of the app updates through the App Store. Thankfully I didn’t have any issues with the whole corrupt apps fiasco, but I know several people who did. It’s great to see Apple handling the problem this quickly and working to resolve it. Let us know if you see any update through the App Store and if that fixes your app issues.

Anybody lucky enough to dodge the corrupt apps? Or are you waiting on those re-delivered updates? Comment down below and let us know
