One of the App Store’s biggest successes, Tiny Wings, has been subject to a major update. Version 2 is out now, and best of all, if you already have the game it’s available as a free update. If not, it’ll set you back $0.99/£0.69 in the App Store.

The update features:

• A new game mode: “Flight School”
• 15 new levels that “flow”
• New additions to the bird family
• Retina display optimization
• Night Flights
• iCloud support (syncs your game between iPad and iPhone versions)
• New menu
• New languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian

I’ll be checking it out over the course of today, and will most likely shoot a quick video with an overview once it’s downloaded. I’m a massive fan of the original, so I can’t wait to give this a spin.
