Yesterday, there was a large expansion of iTunes in the Cloud movies, so this little bit of news went slightly unnoticed. Something new that came with the rollout of iTunes in the Cloud movies to all of those countries was the addition of 20th Century Fox movies to the “available” list of accessible content via iTunes in the Cloud. When the service launched, Universal and Fox were not included because of agreements the studios had in place with HBO, with sources saying that there were negotiations to lift those restrictions “within days” of the launch. Universal’s movies began showing as available via iTunes in the Cloud in early April, but just now has 20th Century Fox also been included. iTunes in the Cloud is beginning to become more robust of a service every day it seems.
What do you think? Glad to finally see their movies included? Disappointed it took this long? Let us know in the comments.
