There are a ton of weather apps in the App Store. The king is probably the Weather Channel App, but Weather HD certainly has a close second place. Up until now they have all had pretty similar designs, including current temperature, hourly, 36 hour, and 10 days. These are all great, but I’ve noticed that they can all seem cluttered at times when I’m looking at the upcoming forecast. Now this isn’t to say that the Weather Channel app is bad because it’s great, but it just isn’t as simple as this new weather app competitor.

WTHR, spelled to sound like weather, has been released and it is gorgeous. We all know that Apple loves simplicity and this app exemplifies that to the fullest extent. There isn’t a ton to say about this app, mainly because of how clean cut and easy to use it is. There are two buttons, a refresh button and a Fahrenheit to Celsius toggle, and that’s it. I’d definitely recommend this app if you love simple and easy to use, but good looking as well. If you’re interested in getting it, you can find it here.
