Rovio is one of the best known iOS game makers in the tech world. If you don’t know that name, chances are you’ve played one of the famous games created by Rovio. Here’s a little hint… they invented Angry Birds. Angry Birds has broken numerous records and help start a legacy that won’t die as easily as those green pigs. Hopefully this next endeavor will be just as successful.

Amazing Alex was first unveiled in May, but we now know that it will be coming in July to an iOS devices near you. The concept of the game is to solve various puzzles. There is more than one way to solve each puzzle which allows you to be creative. The following is off the Amazing Alex site:

“Meet Amazing Alex! With his boundless imagination, this whiz kid turns everything into adventure! From cleaning his room to battling cardboard robots in his backyard, Alex creates amazing chain reactions to get the job done. Now he has some challenges for you!“

I’m not sure about you, but I am definitely going to be trying this once it hits. If it is even 1/10th the amount of fun as Angry Birds then I know I will soon be hooked. It’s amazing to see the following that is still going strong after the success of the flying fowl. It is certainly going to be hard to top that last record setting game, but I’m sure Rovio is more than up to the challenge.
