Virgin Mobile set to offer prepaid iPhone for $30 per month from June 29th

What does T-mobile have to do to get the iPhone on its network? (Rhetorical question, we all know the answer.) Virgin is set to become yet another in a long line of MVNOs to offer the iPhone. However, it’s to become only the second to offer it on a prepaid plan. From the 29th of June, Virgin Mobile will be selling the 16GB iPhone 4S for $649 and the 8GB iPhone 4 for $549. It may seem a little pricey, but remember, there’s no 2 year contract and the monthly cost is outstanding to say the least.

The cheapest plan will set you back $35 per month, and will give you 300 minutes talk time, unlimited texts, and “unlimited” data with a fair use policy cap of 2.5GB (drops to $30 per month if you register credit card/PayPal for monthly direct debits). If you need an all-you-can-eat plan, it will only cost you $55 per month. Considering there’s no lengthy plan involved, that’s pretty awesome.

Will any of you be picking up the iPhone on Virgin Mobile come the end of this month?

Hopefully I can find $500 or $600 laying around on the street somewhere…lol. I’ll just be stuck with Optimus V, which set me back $50 buying it on Black Friday.

I just think T-Mobile is being cheat and need to put the money and the table. Everybody has the iPhone except them.

Will be a nice thing over contract for sure I would buy a remanufactured iPhone off contract, but if this is a new phone what the hay why not!  Virgin Mobile has a decent plan compared to the other prepaid carriers they have that android and now there’s the first prepaid iPhone.
