One thing Apple is known for is secrets. From upcoming products to new software, Apple likes to keep a tight lid on what it’s doing. With rumors going around about a possible new store in Sydney, it was all but confirmed by the iPhone maker. Well…now it has been…sort of.
Thanks to Siri, it’s been pretty much concluded that Apple is going to open a retail store down in Sydney, Australia.
Gizmodo had the following on its site:
“The secret is out that Apple is building a second retail store in Sydney’s Broadway shopping centre, and despite the fact that it’s not even open for business yet, Siri knows where it is and is happy to take you there, provided you have iOS 6.“
This is ironic and good news for a lot of people. Ironic because the secret was spilled by an iOS software component, and it’s great news because now people know that they can expect an Apple retail store in the ”land down under”.
