Google+ app coming to iPad

As some of you may know, Google I/O (Google’s developer conference) is going on right now. With a lot of Android announcements coming this morning, there wasn’t too much “new” to talk of. But, something that many people have been waiting for from Google ever since they launched the iPhone Google+ app, has just been announced: an iPad compatible version. Finally. The tablet version of this app will feature an interface and UI designed specifically for the bigger screen, and high resolution graphics to support the iPad’s amazing Retina display.

Alongside this announcement, Google+ is getting new and improved Hangout features and notification features, which will all come with the new iOS app that will be here in the “near future.” Google also said that the currently available iPhone version of Google+ will be getting an update soon, with all the new features demonstrated and talked about at today’s Google I/O announcement.

What do you think? Will you give Google+ a try now? Already use Google+ and excited to get it on your iPad? Let us know in the comments.
