Just when we were beginning to think that we’d never get an untethered jailbreak for our awesome new iPads, p0d2g has recorded a short video showing it in action. The same developer famously found the exploits necessary to “free” our iPhone 4S’ last year. The vid below shows a jailbroken 3rd generation iPad going through a reboot.

Now that we know it’s working on the new iPad and the iPhone 4, it’s more than likely that it’ll work on all iOS devices – including iPhone 4S. Essentially, anything running iOS 5.1 or above will shortly be able to get back to customizing their devices again. Personally, I’ve never jailbroken an iPad, so I can’t wait to give it a go this time around.
