I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve noticed a bit of lag in my iMessages recently. Most of the time everything works fine, but every once in a while my phone goes dark for a while and then I get a burst of messages sent hours before. To say this is annoying would be an understatement, but it also means I miss important messages from family and friends.
Luckily it seems that a solution has finally been discovered… sort of. If you’ve been experiencing lag with your iMessages and have been using the beta of iMessage for Mac, that may be your problem. According to Cult of Mac, the relay between the beta Mac program and iMessages on iOS can sometimes get bogged down.
So, as you’d expect, to solve the problem all you have to do is uninstall the beta iMessage Mac program from your computer. I’ve tried this and I haven’t noticed any problems since I deleted the Mac program. If you guys are willing to try this, I’d love to know how it works for you. Leave a comment down below or tweet me!
