If you missed the preorder craze for Apple’s latest toy and thought you’d have to wait a month to get your hands on it (like last year), I have some good news. It seems that this time around the company may just be able to handle the insane amount of demand. Online shipping times for every variation of the new iPad have dropped to 1-2 weeks, from 2-3 weeks last week.
This is especially significant considering that Apple has sold more new iPads its first weekend than any other iPad launch. I can only imagine how many iPads Apple has stock piled, and how many more it has on the way. The device is set to launch in 24 additional countries this Friday.
Also, if, for whatever reason, you would rather pick up the tablet in stores, you can order online any time between 10 PM and 4 AM local time and pick up your new device the very next day.
