Harry Potter available in iOS friendly e-book format – no iBooks version yet

J.K. Rowling’s insanely successful Harry Potter series has made its way in to the digital age. The entire series has been made available on the writer’s Pottermore site in the EPUB e-book format. Currently, Pottermore is in a beta/private mode, and can’t be accessed by everyone. That should change soon (April – allegedly). The books range from $8-$10 or you can purchase the whole series with a 10% discount.

The books – although not available in the iBooks store yet, can be downloaded and loaded on to an iPad, and be read using Apple’s book reading software. They can be purchased for Kindle, Nook and Sony’s e-reader. We’re hoping – obviously – that a deal can be struck with Apple to get this age’s most popular book series on iBooks.
