It’s not unusual to see Apple involved in a lawsuit. In fact, they’ve probably got more lawyers than hardware designers. The latest involves an 83-year-old woman who walked in to one of Apple’s trademark glass store fronts in Manhasset, Long Island. The woman in question, Evelyn Paswall, didn’t see that the door was shut and walked straight in to it, broke her nose, and is now suing the world’s most valuable company for damages.
Derek T. Smith, Paswall’s lawyer told CBS:
“Apple wants to be cool and modern and have the type of architecture that would appeal to the tech crowd, but on the other hand, they have to appreciate the danger that this high-tech modern architecture poses to some people.”
What’s your opinion on this? Should Apple make more of an effort to make their doors more obvious? Or is this human error being blamed on a big corporation for the sake of making a few bucks? Comment or leave me a tweet: @TiP_Cam.
