“Mr. X” is at it again, and this time he’s spilling yet more info regarding the next generation iPhone to 9to5Mac. Unfortunately, it seems there are yet more signs pointing towards an iPhone 4S, and not an iPhone 5. The anonymous source stated that the device has been spotted on Apple’s inventory system showing the same product code seen on the leaked label from earlier today. This iPhone 4S is powered by an A5 processor, supposedly has 1GB RAM and an 8MP camera, also known as the “N94” coded prototype.
The MD239F/A code supposedly matches up with that shown in the inventory and indicates a 16GB white iPhone 4S. However, I will advise the usual prescription pinch of sea salt with this, since “Mr. X” has not provided any image of the inventory either in blurry-cam or screen shot form. If this rumor does turn out to be true, we are fairly confident that it will mean no iPhone 5.
