iPhone 5 silicone sleeve stock photographed at AT&T store

Yesterday, you may recall, there were quite a few leaks regarding both the iPhone 5 and the 4S. At one point it looked likely that we may only see a slightly improved iPhone 4, dubbed “4S”. However, a photo taken showed iPhone 5 accessories in AT&T’s inventory and was leaked by BGR. To add further steel to the rumor, an AT&T staff member sent some interesting pics to MacRumors. The photos showed some iPhone 5 cases arriving early at the “Big Blue” retail store.

The design clearly shows that it’s not for an iPhone 4/4S, but for a new, redesigned iDevice. The product label also states “silicone sleeve Apple iPhone 5″. Like MacRumors points out, the leaked cases and schematics are the only pieces of evidence seen so far to back up speculation regarding the re-designed iPhone. Most sources, and rumors have been pointing towards a faster iPhone 4. Thankfully, we only have to wait a few more days before all these rumors are either proven or debunked.

I wonder how much Apple really enjoys this secrecy and public/blog enthusiasm regarding rumors surrounding their product??. It is not like Samsung will copy Apple’s iPhone at the last minute and will mass produce and introduce their copied version!!! to the market before Apple does. I simply think consumers’ (89%) stupidity feeds Apple’s arrogance.

So you must be that consumer???

        I don’t own an iPhone.

You people are so dumb, the iPhone is actually a good phone and that’s why people love it, go take your retarded androids somewhere else

Now there is the stupidity I was talking about, and who said I have an Android phone?

      • Edder

iPhones are for ppl that don’t know how to mess around with settings to configure a truely customizable device. Ppl want iPhones because of the name and ease of use. More tech savvy ppl prefer a device that actually lets one delete music off the device w/o having to plug into the computer, for example. A device that can actually play flash content . . .

I think they may actually be making it have that slanted back like some prototype pictures show. If that’s the case it will be an ugly phone. It may be fast but ugly. We’ll have to wait and see.

Man… When I see and get that iPhone, I just wanna take a good big dump on that piece of shit.

    • Bob

Let me guess you have an android and think it’s better than the iPhone, let me tell you right now that you are wrong and why r u on an iphone site if you are just here to make stupid coments?

      • Fray Contreras

No. I own the Windows Phone. Android is garbage and the same wit the iPhone. I believe Android is better than that shit iPhone.

          There’s no accounting for taste I guess…..

That has got to rank as some of the worst waste of packaging for a product!

  • Anonymous

Shouldn’t the packaging be at&t branded if its in an at&t store? I know Verizon stuff is branded in the packaging just seems strange these have no carrier branding

    • Anonymous

      Good point.

    • http://www.facebook.com/baldilocks73 Steve Hartsock

Not always. Unlike Verizon, AT&T doesn’t need to put their branding all over everything.

    • Edder

I think ppl recognize that it’s AT&T by the blue and orange coloring in the packaging itself.
