iTunes 10.5 beta 6.1 released, with iTunes Match

Apple, yesterday evening, launched the latest beta version of iTunes to developers. Beta 6.1 is essentially the same as the previous beta, except with one interesting addition: iTunes Match. This new feature will essentially – when launched to the public – allow you to have a copy of all your music from iTunes in the cloud. For a full demonstration of how it works, check iDownloadBlog’s video below, it’s a great comprehensive review and it’s not too long either. iTunes Match will launched in the States only initially, with a $25 annual subscription fee.  Other international countries should see the service at some point next year, once Apple has ironed out all the licensing legalities.
