Verizon iPhone dropping to $150?
According to our sister site, VzBuzz, Verizon is planning a pretty huge sale over the summer. Included in the massive promotion is the HTC Thunderbolt, Droid X, iPhone 4 and Blackberry Bold, among other discounts. If this leak is accurate it would see the 16GB iPhone 4 dropped from $199.99 to $150.99. However, the Thunderbolt – which by all accounts is a powerhouse Android device – is dropping from $299.99 to free/nada. Now, however much I love iOS, if I was looking for a device on VZW and these deals were being offered, I’d snap up the Thunderbolt lightning fast. (See what I did there?)
Are you looking for a new phone in the next few months? What would you choose – $50 of the iPhone or a free Thunderbolt? If you fancy tweeting catch me here – @TiP_Cam

With new smart phones coming out every three months or so, discounting keeps the field competitive. Thunderbolt is a great phone but suffers from a short battery life...it's only right the current $250 price should be reduced accordingly...not likley to be free.
