How often do you smell your iPhone? I’m only asking because I have a feeling that such an occurrence will soon grow pretty frequent. The reason being is, for the iPhone 5 finish, Apple has decided to go with a scratch-and-sniff paint! Okay, that’s not entirely true. Fine… it’s not even a little bit true. But, it is true that pretty soon you might just want to take a good wiff of your Apple gadget.

Jelly Belly, the maker of jelly beans, is now selling gadget accessories for iPhones, iPods and Blackberrys. The cases look pretty standard except for one thing – they make your phone smell like a jelly bean. They run you about $15, and come in a few different “flavors.”

This concept is cool and kind of funny, but it’s definitely a niche product. I really don’t see a ton of people walking around with a licorice-scented iPhone.
